We Serve

The Killeen Evening Lions Club was organized in November 1964, and sponsored by the Killeen Noon Lions Club. Our club was chartered in February, 1965, and has continued in supporting the needs of our community , state, nation, and the world. We strive to meet new challenges and goals. Our members enjoy a wonderful fellowship. We look for areas of need within our community and we find ways and means in which we can best serve.

A key project for our club is to send handicapped children to the annual Texas Lions Camp at no charge to the child’s parents. Our club has several fund raising projects throughout the year. These projects include" White Cane” collections, concession sales throughout the year, and our annual Killeen Rodeo Show and a Horse Show twice a year using our concession trailer for the sale of drinks, hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. In all cases, our Lions Club members work together in making the “Fund Raisers” a success.

Our main fund-raiser is Bingo that is held at the '40 & 8 Bingo Hall' on Hallmark Avenue in Killeen. The revenue from the Bingo money all goes to charitable organizations, such as listed below. So, teamwork does make a difference in the Lion’s Club and is quite rewarding to help the less fortunate.
